Title: Need a 5.7L diesel wiring diagram
Post by: heapster on June 22, 2011, 05:35:02 pm: The pickup I bought was a 79 c-10 and the guy who sold it had dropped a 250 6 in there. This was before I knew anything about vehicles. Now I for sure know that I don't think I'm ever buying from that guy again. He rigged the diesel harness to work for the gas engine and I want to chop out all the useless wires with out accidentally knocking out my headlights or something along those lines. But I cant find the wiring diagram anywhere. any help appreciated thanks.

This is from dieselplace.com site but apparently there is a difference i think this one is pre 84 if that helps you out any

That was I can compare the plugs of the Military (mines and 87) to the 85 Gasser to a 81-87 Diesel.
