Title: Tailgate fitment - 74' C10

I have a '74 C10 and bought a tailgate recently, I don't know which parts are required to fit the tailgate to the loadbox.  Attached pics of the loadbox of the truck as well as the tailgate. Please keep in mind I'm from SA and my RHD C10 has a different spec tailgate than the US version. Any advise will be appreciated. Looks I need a shaft as well as a fitting on the truck.

Based on your pictures I would say you are missing the cup piece that bolts to the box and captures the roung hinge (rusty thing) on your tailgate.

not really as your tailgate is opposite of the American ones.  Yours is reversed.
