Title: Hood Gromets
Post by: pedigo78 on July 09, 2011, 09:08:00 am
I know this is a silly question but whatever. I have an 85 chevy and I noticed that the Rubber hood gromets that sit on the inside of the fenders where missing. So I was in junk yard and found a the same truck as mine and took the rubber gromets from it. When I put them on mine and close the hood, the hood pops up above the fender line. So how do you adjust that they are the stock groments?

should just be able to twist them and they will screw down to level out the hood. or maybe something is screwed up thats why the p.o. took them out.
