Is there anywhere to get the clear mini-quad headlights (and the matching parking lights) for the '89-'91 grille for a better price than ?
-
Those that own a truck with the 89-91 front end know that the light output from these small 50mm x 135 mm headlights are pathetic at best. Does anyone know if these euro headlights help?
I bought some Hella headlights that were this size a while back and it dramatically helped but they're $180 for a pair. So far, I have avoided several collisions with deer so they have already paid off. The next step is to convert them to accept HID's.

You may want to get rid of the page, the mention of that vender is a no-no on this forum...

I did a search online and could not find anything less costly. These 50mm x 135mm headlights were not used on many vehicles so there is not much aftermarket support for them. In fact, the only vehicle I can think of that used them were the 89-91 Suburban, 88+ Chevy/GMC trucks, 2 door Pontiac Grand Prix and Jeep Cherokee Limited.

sorry to bring up somethin so old,but i am looking for the same thing. even though i'd like them, they dont have to be the bright ass blue lights, but definitely need something better

You can get the euro style housings from a few places. Mine cost 130 for a pair after shipping. The "bright blue lights" are called HIDs (high intensity discharge). I have an 89 burb with the low beams converted to euro housings and HIDs. I went with blue, but you can get yellow, green, light blue, dark blue, white, purple, pink. Just depends on how much attention you want from authorities with the more "exotic" colors. HIDs are very bright, but if you aim the lights properly you can avoid blinding people. I highly recommend the upgrade. And you can get an HID kit on ebay for 32 bucks shipped. If you need more info, pm me.
