Title: brake lites

my rear brake,signal and hazard lites dont work. the running and backup lites work. the front and dash signal lites work. any ideas what it could be ? its a 87 r10 step side .Thanks

Wiring under the bumper, and its "lights".

i dont have a rear bumper. my tag lites dont work either

Under where the bumper bolts to the frame. Like, under the bed at the very end of the truck.

Also, check brake light fuse.

fuse is good. i checked the ground thats about the center of the bed in the rear

Check the whole wiring harness under it.

like 79 was saying there should be a junction where the bumper used to be where the wires are split up. sometimes p.o. will mess with them and sometime later it will just fail

got them working. the little tits on one bulb werent contacting and the connecter on the other side went bad. crazy that 2 different things go bad at the same time. thanks for all the suggestions

The turn signal and brake lights are the same filament
