Gonna get an 83ish truck with an inline engine and swap it with a 350. my concern is the exhaust system. I imagine i will have to transplant everything from the doner truck to the new one. Doner truck is same year but automatic trans, new truck is manual trans. I will also have to change the flywheel to i believe, would the one from the inline engine be usable on the 350???????????????
Thank for any input.

You can swap the flywheel they would be the same. Accelorator cable is shorter with a 350 as well so swap them. you'll have to move the motor mounts to the other set of holes. Also install a pilot bushing in the back of the crank.

Throttle cable and pilot bushing thanks, definantly wouldnt have come to mind.

radiator, fan and shroud would best to be updated also.
