Title: Fuel injection to carb swap
Post by: Senck243 on July 23, 2011, 01:07:42 pm
I just got a 89 350 out of a 3/4 ton and want to put it in my 84 half ton. What do I need to swap on to the motor to convert it to carburetor? Any help is appreciated

Either swap the heads for older ones (intake bolt pattern is different on TBI heads) or get an "adapted" intake manifold..

Some of them say something about a "bushing" for the later model heads.
