Saw them at The Fraze in Kettering Oh Saturday night. They put on a great show and sounded GREAT!
-
I remember seeing them around 1980. Do they still have the double drummers? They were fantastic.

Both Donnie (.38 spcl) and Johnny (Skynyrd) Van Zant combined their talents to form one heckuva southern rock/country group. I have both of Van Zants CD's. I play them all the time and if you like southern rock, you'll like these two cd's;
-Get Right With The Man
-My Kind of Country

I have saw 38 special a couple of times, they never disappoint!
-
I have seen them three times over the last 20 years, always sound great!

The boys were AWESOME as usuall. No dueling drummers tho. Only thing I didn't like was they combined a bunch of really good songs at one point in the middle of the show playing just a sample of them. Fraze has a curfew cuz of the retirement home near by so bands have to shut down by 10 or 10:30. I would have liked to hear them completely.

Yeah Meadowbrook where I go allot has a new curphew now too 11:00. Because there are condos nearbye. Theres also a small airport near it too. So its okay for the planes to make noise? The feature band never starts until 9:30 / 9:45 most of the time!!
