Title: Un-attached Wire
Post by: pedigo78 on August 01, 2011, 07:13:24 pm: So I was under my dash of my 85 and I noticed a brown wire with a white stripe which still has the correct connector on it but not attached it anything. I noticed it under the dash close to the parking brake lever. Anyclue as to what it is and where I should connect it. Also I have a post on here about the horn relay and how i cant found it, i had some pictures but that didnt help me either.

Post by: beastie_3 on August 02, 2011, 12:24:23 pm: If it is actually a black wire with white stripe, then its a ground and there is a prong on the e brake bracket that it goes on. brown with white stripe is seatbelt light i think.

Post by: pedigo78 on August 02, 2011, 06:27:15 pm: Maybe I did notice some prongs on the brake, of course there is nothing plugged into them. But I dont know. heck I am still trying to find my horn relay in order to see if that is the problem with that not working.

This shows the parking brake switch, which illuminates your parking brake light. It is the white plastic piece in the back with the hex screw. I had to remove the flasher to take the pic.
