Title: Speedometer ?'s

That is exactly what I want to do especially with my extended cab. I have one from my 1991 parts truck that I would like to have converted if possible.

Interesting, I wonder if the guts and face can be swapped over for miles???, any chance of posting a picture?

If I don't have one on my personal computer then I'll have to take a picture when I get back home. That won't be for another 6 days though.

I think you'd probably have to change the gear or whatever that turns the numbers. Our kilometres are shorter than your miles....

That would be great if there was step by step procedure written up to do that conversion. My 91 Suburban has cruise and I am going to put the column in my 85 anyway.

Post by: Captkaos on August 08, 2011, 08:43:58 pm: TBI's need a 2 pulse square wave. You have 2 options if the 91 and the 85 have the same trans, just pull off the tails and swap the guts.
