Title: 274-60-15 tires on a stock height C-15
Post by: Peteracer on February 01, 2004, 02:31:00 am
hello, i just purchased a rolling chassis from a 1985 1500 gmc to replace my old 74 C15 frame , it came with  15x8 rallye wheels (without trims or hubs), and i also got a very good deal on 15x10 used chrome wheels.

My question is : is anybody in there running  275-60-15 tires on  15x10 rims on a C-15? any rubs? any tire wear problems?
How you like your handling, should i put the 275-60-15 on my rallye (15x8)  instead of putting them on my  15x10 chromed ones?

i would really appreciate your opinions about this one.

thanks.
Peter

go with the 15x8s I like the stock looking wheels with the wide tire I ran them before I lower my 79 and never rubbed and ther was no rub after lowering it 5 inches
