Ok i dont know much bout bigger tires yet, but i just got 33/10.5/15  tsl thornbirds on my blazer, new ones a couple mo. ago. Now the max psi it says is 45. The place that mounted them on rims put them at 35, and that seems like tooo much cause as u can see in pic, THEY'RE STARTING TO SPLIT AT SEAMS!  I lowered the pressure to about 30, they still rock hard, and i dont know how low psi is safe for normal everyday drivin. but i cant figure out why it wouls split like this with only 35 psi? Or is it a rip somehow?

I personally would take it back to them and show it to them.  It looks like it could be seperating.  35lbs isn't that much and 30 isn't that low, optimum pressure would be where the most amount of the contact patch gets to the ground.
