Title: Replacement clutch fork.
Post by: Got Smoke? on August 31, 2011, 08:11:38 pm
I'm going to be doing a clutch swap on my truck next week and I'm planning on rebuilding/replacing anything in question on the linkage....which is most of it. ::)

Classic Parts clutch fork is $35 + S&H.

My local auto zone has one in stock made by Pioneer for $18, and it comes with a one year warrenty. Anybody have any experience with them?

Well I know for a fact mine is the original, truck has 100K plus miles on it. I just wanted to see if anybody had used them without failure. Thanks

I would expect at least decent quality from any new one that you get. These guys have it and they have most of the other pieces.

I have been considering getting the spherical joint linkage rod. It's supposed to eliminate the squeeks.

I ordered acatalog from their site over a month ago to see what all they offered. As I like have multiple options to choose from. Still haven't relieved it yet.  >:(
