I just had driver & passenger window motors installed in my 84 Silverado. The windows especially the drivers side does not go all the way to the top & seat in the top of the gasket channel. It goes up & down fine, but just likes maybe less than an 1/4 of inch going up & closing completely.
Is there a way to adjust the glass so i can nudge it up that lil bit & secure it so i dont hear the wind whistling in my ear lol!

Did you just replace the motors? Does it bind when going up?

I had both driver & pass motors replaced. Neither side binds. Both go up & down smooth. Its just the drivers side that doesnt quite go aall the way up, I'm talking fractions of an inch lol! You can barely see the tint line on the glass when its completly up. Guy who did the work says may need to knockout the rivets & move it to the next mounting holes in the motor. I was just wondering if there was something I could do before trying to remount the motor.

Did you check the window regulator on the Drivers side? Is it binding?
