I did post this question over on a different board here, got one response. Thanks 79Apache. Anyway, my 82 has the inline 6, I am riding on 205 75R15's right now. I was thinking about going up to 225 75R15 snow tires for the winter. A few people have told me that by increasing the size of the tire, I would be putting to much drag resistance on the little motor. Can I get some more response on this. I am mainly concerned because there is a big hill before you get to my place.

It shouldn't stress the motor at all, thats not a big increase in tire size so it should run normal. My friend has a 79' K10 with a 6" lift and 35x12.50's on his truck and that setup puts a little stress on the motor, but as for yours; there really shouldn't be any problems of stressing that inline.

A friend of mine has a 71 jimmy with a 6in lift, 3.73 gears, a 250 l6, and 33" tires, he has no problems getting around, or climbing over trees for that matter.
