Good morning fellow Chevy Truck Guys,

Thank you for allowing me to join you.
I have a 1976 chassis 3/4 ton 4x4 Chevy truck.
I went through it all and made it totally rust free, with new or aftermarket sheet metal, 15 years ago.  A few years ago rust started showing itself in the rear fenderwells, cab corners and rockers.
Upon closer inspection, there was signs of cancer in the floor panels and cab supports as well as the rear of the front fenders and box supports. I never put a drop of undercoating on it because I always park it in a climate controlled garage and I thought that was good enough. I now know how big of a mistake that was.

Anyway, I'm now in the middle of rebuild #2. I have the truck stripped down to just the chassis, drivetrain and engine.
I have a rust free box and decent cab (I have a few small spots to repair), rust free GM doors and fenders and a bunch of other little goodies to add as I go along.
I'm going to add a 4" suspension lift, and check all the lines and hoses while they're all easy to get to. I'll also try my hand at painting it myself this time. It's really my wood cutting / hunting truck so the paint doesn't need to be show quality. I'm going to try and paint all the items individually and assemble them instead of painting the truck as a whole.
I wanted to be further along by now since winter is approaching but that isn't the case. I hope to have it up and running within a few months.

I have a few questions to ask but I'll do that in one of the other forums.
I just wanted to introduce myself and thank you for allowing me to join you all.
