Title: Getting around to introducing myself
Post by: Cabcorner on September 09, 2011, 06:31:27 am
Hi guys, My name is Tony .I am a 46 year old electrician from western NY.I have what I'd call an obsession for squarebody chevys . I've only owned 5 of them , 2 that I regretted selling and the other 3 I still have . My driver is a 86 K-10 longbed with a 305,700R4,208 ,auto hubs and 308 gears. She needs rockers and cabcorners but is in overall decent shape . The long term project is my 85 K-20 Silverado that I bought in 1988 . In the late 90's I replaced the body with one from a 87 C-10. The future plans are to upgrade to 1 ton drivetrain and paint it red. The toy is a plow truck i picked up to play with and practice body work on . Its a shortbox fulltime 4x4 registered as a 86 C-10 . I paid 650 for it and sold the plow for 200 . I've probably got 2 grand into it most of which is welding wire and grinding wheels .
