Title: What tires do I want for my 1979 K-10?
Post by: 1976Scottsdale on September 28, 2004, 02:16:00 pm
I am trying to find a good set of tires for my '79.  It has a two inch body lift on it now, but it will get a four inch suspension lift soon.  I am going to put 33/12.50/15lt tires on it with the stock 15x10 rally wheels.  I was looking at a set that walmart sells called Super Sports or something like that.  Are they any good?  If not, give me some ideas, any advice would be helpful.

Thank.
K.J.

Walmart Super Sports

Big-O tires Big Foot M/T

They are both made by Goodyear, so you should be fine.

If you are running this on the street alot I don't think you want Boggers.  I have a set for my Jeep that I run only offroad.

Well, I bought the super sports.  They are on a nice set of rally wheels that I bought for 40.00 with the original caps and rings.  It looks pretty good now and drives better as these tires are balanced.
