I have been fixing the steering wheel slop using Capt. Kaos' step by step. I am almost done and I found the part below. I am not sure it came out of the steering but it appeared where I was working. Does anybody know it is? I appreciate any help.

Kind of looks like connection that makes the buzzer go when the key is in the ignition... I think....

It is the spring that goes on that connector....
I had the same "left over part" when I did my column.
