Title: Help With Wiring Identification!
Post by: AJII on September 17, 2011, 09:52:55 pm
Hey guys,

My dad and I finally got our 85 K10 carb'd 5.3 swap running!  ;D

Couple of questions...
1) The blower motor doesnt work at all and all fuses are good/relays connected. The temperature control lever is stuck as well..is this just the sign of a bad control box?

2)Trying to clean up some of the underhood wiring mess, and I cant figure out what this bundle of wires connects to? I've  searched but cant find the connector/wire color anywhere.

1). I think it is more likely that you have two seperate problems.
you may just have a bad motor-to test it; remove it and connect it directly to battery power.
as far as the lever not moving; inside of the heater box(where your fan is mounted) there is a flapper door. that could be jammed up not allowing the cable to move.
