Can somebody help me out? Im trying to find a c50 or 60 front clip on line or locally that wont empty my wallet. I want to put them on my k20 because they look BEEFY! If anyone knows a good source it would be helpful. I havent found any on craigslist.
-
i would think that would be a bit big for anything other than the c-60 or bigger if u get one from a c-60. yeah they look beefy but they are huge i had to help take one off here in nc to get my motor out of a c-60 24ft box truck

fail

There is a junkyard down in Eloy, right off the 10 at sunland gin rd, I think I saw one or two in there, along with a bunch of squares. Imma head down there to find a bed for my 73 pretty soon. I'll let you know if they have one.
-
Thanks slammed. Beastie, why fail?
-
maybe if it was done right. with a proper lift, good parts it wouldn’t look so bad
-
Well that guy slapped it together. That "lift" is 2 frames stacked on top of eachother. The fenders is what I was focused on. They look good.
-
I'd like to see one of those noses on a Jacked up Crew Cab Dually.

The c60 front clip is wider than the truck, how can that look good ?
-
Bake.... I thought the c50-60 cabs are the same as the same as the c10-30 cabs except for the flat floor. So why would the front clip be wider?
-
what is tge flat floow?
-
I fixed it. Stupid touch screen phone.

fail
This
That unit was very poorly done. I've seen this swap look pretty cool.
-
I have seen a non tilt nose C50 front end on a dually regular cab with a 12 inch suspension, and 3 inch body lift, It had 6 60" tall tractor tires under it. It was cool looking.
-
seeing that truck makes me think it would be cool to do on my dually give it that big beefy look but i would so try to make it look bigger what u think i would have to do to get it to work would i have to get the front to fit as i think it would help me to get access to the motor or would it be better to get the fiberglass piece for a regular hood to flip up as some people have done
-
Of course I dont want mine to look all haggard like that. Ill do it right. I dont know if I want tilt or non tilt nose.
-
Heres a better view of that truck. You can see that it isnt wider than the cab.

He did that to a blazer? Now I'm jumping on the fail bandwagon!!!
-

I'm glad you two know what the heck you are talking about ???
-
na i dont know what im talking about. but i was saying with the home made spacers to lift one frame off the other and just cutting the roof in half also with the damaged clip. it wouldnt be a nice road truck but if your making a off road rig then he did what he needed for some odd reason and this is what he made. do i like it, no but if it does its job then he did what he intended to.
