Title: Firewall / Floor insulation material
Post by: firefighter on October 01, 2011, 07:39:22 am
I know I ask a lot of questions but you guys are such a great source of information.
That's what we're all here for, right?   :)

As I approach completion of my new cab and begin getting ready to put the wiring, steering column and heater assy. back in, I've been wondering about what to do for a firewall pad (since the last one crumbled upon removal).
Should I just order a replacement pad or is there some new stuff that everyone has been using? I'm trying to keep my costs down so I really don't need any space age or high tech product, just something that works.
I suppose I definitely want to do the firewall and maybe even the floor.
I've used the search feature but I didn't really come across a thread that everyone said "buy this, it works great".

Suggestions?
Thank you.
