Title: Mirrors
Post by: bobarby on October 01, 2011, 10:32:31 am
Dear All,

I have been rebuilding my chevy blazer from the chassis up in my minimal free time, hence 4 years, in a location where well it is hard to get parts to. I have been looking for mirrors and have finally found a set of original GM mirrors in the box. It came with an instruction sheet and a template. I have tried to measure it and well it is attached. Hope it is helpful. It came with a whole bunch of original screws and a reinforcement bar. Don't ask, the country is a place where many many years ago there were many US cars and we even manufactured them here but some 30 years ago well relations soured and some of us are still with our old trucks. We take great joy in working on them and they definitely beat the Peugeot and Renault that are now manufactured here and definitely of SUVs from Porsche and Toyota. People like the US trucks more..

Images are reduced so I can upload.

I am a little confused, are you asking a question, or just sharing ?  The templates look easy enough to use, they are to switch from the chrome close mount mirrors to the towing style mirrors on 3/4 and 1 ton trucks.  At least that is what I got out of those templates.
