Title: What will fit with 2" lift?
Post by: SK468 on February 19, 2004, 01:38:00 am
Hello eveyone I have a 78 Chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 with a 2" lift on it, will 33"x12.50 tires fit? I also need some advice on where to buy new wheels from, I just want some plain spoke (black preferably but I'll take white too and just paint them) I guess they would have to be 16's to clear the brakes but not sure. Also what's a good tire with a fairly aggresive tread pattern? (the cheaper the better) Thanks for all the help guys!!!

You should be perfectly fine with 33's i have a bone stock 87 1/2 ton with 33/12.5 and no problem. the best way for cheap tires is just to look in truck magazines like 4-wheeler for example

My experience tells me CRAGAR sells some classic and modern wheels.  This includes steel and chrome over aluminum for very reasonable prices.  Their website will direct you to dealers in your area.
