Heres a few pics of my sierra. It came from bc and had a camper from the factory in it. It used to be a baby blue color but i had it painted a few years ago. It currently has a 305 with hedman hedders and 2.5 flowmasters and a holly carb with a 3 spd column shift and no power steering. Pretty old school.

Thanks for the compliments. Plans for over the winter are a 383 lowering spindles for the front some nicer rims and getting the bench seat recovered. As long as the cash flow permits lol

sounds like some great plans for sure.

is it hard to drive without powersteering?
-
Driving with power steering can be a pain. If you have a power steering box with now power steering, dry steering is impossible, and turning from a roll takes two hands. Im not sure if these trucks were ever equipped with a manual steering box, but thats a little easier due to the different gear ratios in the box, its a little easier to turn.

Manual steering was available on these, but if the box goes out, its cheaper to switch it over to power steering with all new parts than buy a manual box.
I just bought a power steering box for my 74 and saw the manual steering box on the computer at Checker, it was almost double the 125 I spent on the power box. I hope the manual box never goes out on my 73, I don't wanna spend that kinda money!
