Well finally I got to talk to my bodyman and he is ready to start work on my replacement bed for my white truck. I am needing new bed bolts for it. It is an 8 foot bed off a 1986. Can anyone tell me the correct length so I can round some up before I actually need them. Right now the bed is upside down on a flatbed trailer, he is going to straighten out the bottom half and when that is done I want to bolt it on my truck frame I made into a trailer so he can straighten the top half. Thanks in advance

I jist did mine, IIRC there were 6 that were 8 inches long and 2 that were 10 inches long. I think the 2 longer ones were for the front.

It depends on the truck as GM moved the bed bolts around. I would get underneath and measure to be sure . I think bed bolt kits are available for these trucks.
