If the detail shop wont do it, what makes you think it is still a good idea?

My guess is that he sold a lot of drugs to be able to buy a car like that, then started using a lot of drugs before he decided to clean up the interior. Obviously he did not earn the money to spend on a car like that or he would have been more particular about the way it was treated. I'm so tight with the money I earn I don't even go to car washes, I wash them at home cheaper. Couldn't even image taking a pressure washer to the inside of a car worth what about $60,000???  :o

just imagine the horrid smell after. it will take A LONG TIME for that water to evaporate, if at all.

I wash my own vehicles because the brushes at the car wash scratch paint, plus you dont know what is on them from the previous user.

I use the power washer and the vacuums and what now at the car wash but I do everything else at home.

I have to admit something. I have done this- To an old farm truck and only the floorboards that were metal, but a Mercedes Benz, no. That car now has mildew under the carpet. And spraying the electronic dash, terrible thing for the electronics. I wonder what the underlying reasoning was behind this ?

ill admit to doing this to a full size 81 jeep cherokee.  but that was after getting it stuck in the mud so deep that after i got it pulled out the water line was 3/4 up the windshield.  but it didnt have anything power other then steering and breaks ( i think they where options) vinal seats and rubber floor mats to cover the floor boards with.  i payed 500 for it and and i think even the am radio was an option along with the 4 speed.

Did it with the 2005 Kenworth, but it has the real simple rubber floor interior, and we didn't use a power washer. Geez. I was also careful to stay low with the water. No splash, and nothing above the floor got wet.
