Need a spindle nut retainer spring or a source to buy one?

When I took my truck apart one side was missing the spindle nut retainer spring.

Here's what it looks like,

The bent tab on the end fits into the slot on the axle tube to prevent it from spinning.

Here's the spindle nut retainer spring, the key and the nut...

Here's where it goes on a GM Corporate 14 Bolt Rearend

Does anyone have a part number and a source for one of these parts?

This single part is keeping me from re-assembling one side of the rear brake and axle assemblies.

:)

Bad news...

My guy at NAPA can't find one and I called Autozone and they say it's a discontinued part number...

Ugh...

Hey buddy... can you spare a retaining clip?

Ha ha...

Was just heading to eBay...

Thanks, will order right now.  Have to go to SEMA for an entire week so I probably won't get a chance to install it till I get back.  Until then I have the rear axles all cleaned up and ready to install...

It's a lot of fun but it's serious.  There's two ways to go to SEMA, one is working the show the other is to go for fun.  I'm there to work and it's a fun job to work but it's a time to be very serious and professional in all dimensions.

I would say not really, I just like doing the best leg contest and it's kind of a joke because I'm not going to win... at least my track record isn't very good...
