Hey all. New to the site and looked around. I still haven't found info on using 17x9 rims with 275/60-17 tires on my 87 Silverado. It is setting stock height and probably will remain stock. I just want to add some rims and tires to help the look and possibly fill some of the fender opening.
The rims I want to use are REV classic 100 with a 0 offset. Would there be any issue with a rim/tire combo like this? The combo will measure almost 30" in diameter. Since the stock 15" 235/75 only measure a little over 28, I don't want to cause any rub issues.
I'm open to any thoughts :D
Thanks

This is a picture of mine with 275/55/17's on Impala SS wheels. The would measure the same size as stock (or as close as you could get)

Thanks CaptKaos...
I had seen this post earlier and thought I would be ok with my size selection. Since my size would be 30" diameter, do you see where it would be an issue?
If i'm not istaken the setup you have is just below 29".

Correct, if you aren't lowered you should be ok. What backspacing do they have? Impala SS are 17x8.5 w/5.25 BS.

The 17x9 will have a 0 offset, so I believe I would have 4-1/2 " backspacing.
