If you have wondows xp... go here and download the "image resizer"

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/downloads/windows-xp

This little tool is awesome. Just right click a picture and choose what size you want it to be. From there you can just cut/paste it into a post.

could use photobucket then either resize it there or just use the img code (http://i333.photobucket.com/albums/m387/rebel_cowboy_83/stuff/imgcode.jpg)

I use Photobucket but another thing I've done is to just resize the picture on your computer.

Right click on the picture you want to make smaller so you can post.
Hover your mouse pointer over "Open with" and then click on "Paint".
Once the picture opens you can click on "Image" in the task bar on top of the page.
Click on "Stretch/Skew and just reduce the Horizontal and Vertical  percentages. I've found that somewhere between 35% to 50% will usually work depending on a few variables.
This will make the picture smaller so you can post it easily.

*Note*
By doing this, you will permanently resize the picture unless you click on "File" in the top task bar and click on "Save as" and rename it with a new name. This will keep the original picture original and give you a second picture that is resized.
Heck, you can even experiment and keep making the picture smaller until it does fit.

Anyway, this works for me.

Taz,
Go to that link I posted and there is a small download that you'll need to install. After that, anytime you want to resize a picture, just right click on it and then click on "resize" From there you'll be given 3 options of what size you want. I was wrong about the copy/paste. When you get it resized, you just hit the browse feature to go to the place you saved the resized picture to....much easier than this sounds. I could have done several while I typed this out!
