Title: how to replace bed skin

I am trying to replace the bed skin on my 82. i won to know how hard it is and what i need to do

do you mean you need to replace the bedside if so they unbolt but its welded to the floor in the rear. they make replacement sides and patch panels also they sell them here

I think he's talking about the bed floor... maybe? They sell new skins for that too. Don't know how much they cost though.
