Title: Laundry tip
Post by: Blazin on October 30, 2011, 04:02:12 pm
Just figured I would share a laundry tip I discovered a while back. For my grease covered laundry I mix my favorite liquid laundry detergent, and Purple power 50/50.
Purple Power pretty much the same as Castrol Super Clean.

My grandmother showed me a trick many years ago for greasy and oily clothes.  Take a bar of ivory soap and a can of coke, put both in a jar until dissolved and  then add to laundry, every time takes out all the grease and oil.
That my friends is why I do not drink coka-cola.

I keep a spray bottle of simple green near the washing machine, spray them down before you put them in. The tide power pack things work pretty good too.

Put a nail in a sealed jar of Coke. It will disolve eventually!

something else you can do with coke. im sure all have heard about mentos and coke well take a drill and bit and drill a hole in the mentos, put a piece of fishing string threw the mentos and tie it off then open the d. coke bottle put the mentos in the bottle but just where the cap would be hold onto the fishing string and screw the cap back on. make sure its not visible trim off the rest of the string and sit it out "preferably outside". then just sit back and wait for a scream
