I got this new seat cover for my 18th birthday. I love it and it's so great.

Looks like it fits great!!  I need one too because the purple seat has to go!!!
Understand it was a gift but do you know where it was purchased?

I have had it for two days now and it's the best seat cover I have ever owned. As for where I got it I'm not really sure. I know where you can purchase them, but I saw them and a site that competes with this site so I won't say any names. I pretty positive that's probably where my folks got it. I just should them where to find it.

Used that same type on several different old trucks.  Does it have the pocket at the front of the seat?

Yes it does, has pockets all across the front. Witch are excellent cup holders for drinks with lids might I add.

I've got the same cover in my 'burb that is probably about 10 years old.  It has held up great.

I've had my share of those covers too. If you put them on nice and tight they last a long time. The ones with the pockets in the front are the best. Being a contractor I, I put them on just about every bench seat that I have owned.

I picked up a 1984 K10 about a year ago that had that one as well.  It was kind tore up from being worn.  Much to my amazement when I took it off the seat underneath was in pristine condition in the correct color for my 85 C20.

When I bought my truck it had a very nasty one that I trashed. After I cleaned the seat, it looks amazing. It's also the right color and is in great shape.

My parents went online and bought the really nice one for my birthday. You used to be able to get them at auto stores, don't ever see them anymore. Best to go online.

I have used those covers for ~25 years.  Never wore one out.  When it got dirty I washed it in the washing machine.  Made it look new again.  Think mine were made by Saddleman, IIRC.

Anyone know where is a cheap place to get a more permanent seat cover? Like the ones that you put on with hog ring pliars? I'd like to recover my seat for now, until I can fully update the seating. Whoever had my truck before put this nappy solid vinyl seat cover on over the factory cover. Its gotta go.
