I have a new transmission with the proper gear installed and have installed a new cable and speedometer jumps all over the place.
Any help would be appreciated. 1977 C10 2WD

remove the speedometer cable, then remove the cable from the sleeve, lube it and reinstall it.

x2, you have to lube the cable or they will bounce every time.

Thanks, I just purchased a new cable and installed it. Do you even have to lube a new cable? Thanks for your help and patience. :)
