a shot in the dark here. i found material i want to recover my 87 pickup headliner in but i am out of town right now and i'm not sure if this stuff is wide enough, its 60" wide so i don't know if that will fit lengthwise or width wise and don't want to waste the money if it dosen't.
-
I don't want to advise and not have it work but I just measured my truck and I think 60" wide would work fine. 3' from front to back but 38-40" would make with room to spare.
-
thanks
-
What kind of material is it? Anything interesting? I was looking for some original ideas to do my headliner in.
-
it was actually just dark blue vinyl from a fabric store just got done i just gotta get some longer screws for the front and rear molding i used 1/2" foam on the old backing it sits in there well but i don't wanna force em in so it dosen't look like its being stretched i'll post pics tommorow nite when finished. used 3m trim adhesive sets up in like 2 minutes
-
i did notice they had a roll of real tree though that could look cool but the rest of mine is blue so i had to pass on it
-
so here's some pics my first headliner job a few minor bubbles i"ll have to get out with the heatgun.you notice how after you do something like this you realize what you did wrong, maybe i'll do it again in the spring
-
sorry i said pics not pic
-
one funny thing i should have taken a picture of was the square ( it was more of a parallelogram) cut out of the inner roof panel for the air horns that were in the truck at one point when it was repainted i guess they were removed probably 10 years ago.

Looks good. What did you use for adhesive?
-
3m trim adhesive spray works good sets up in a minute or 2 gives you enough time to make sure its how you want it

Looks good!
