New member here. Great site. Anyone have any thoughts\suggestions on getting a set of polished TT2's clear powder coated for easier cleaning\keeping them looking new.
84 chevy swb 18 x 8 fronts w\ 255-55-18 & 18 x 10 rears w\ 285-55-18. Would like to adjust bs to have 1\2 inch clearance to the outer fender lip front and rear. Was thinking 5" front and 4.5 rear?? 3 " drop spindles and 4" drop leaf springs already installed. Thanks.

I don't think the powder coat would come out as clear as you'd like. Also ,once the powder coat gets scratched, there may be nothing you can do to restore it.

Its true i use to powder coat and we did many wheels with clear to try to keep them looking new. After powder coating with clear they do look just a bit duller. The rumor was that the coating would allow for easier cleaning with just a quick wash and not having to polish. I rather polish then have my "NEW" wheels look slightly duller.
