Title: Gas mileage of an 86 Suburban?
Post by: 77c10diesel on November 07, 2011, 08:30:20 pm
I am looking at buying an 86 C20 Suburban with a granny 4 speed and a 350. It is all stock and very basic, rubber mats, bench seats, no 3rd seat, I think manual windows and locks.
I had a 88 Sub with a 454 and THM400 and it was around 11 MPG, what could I expect from this 86?
I think it should get better than the 454/auto, but I know it is no econo-car and know 20 MPG is out of the question.
Reality, what do you think?

If you get it you gotta post up picks... stick shift Suburbans are rare, I would love to happen across one...
