Title: Needing a copy of an original 1978 window sticker
Post by: 1978 454 Big 10 on November 21, 2011, 10:31:26 am
Hello,

I have already contacted GM Heritage (http://www.gmmediaarchive.com/) to get a copy of my dealer invoice. I have bought a blank copy of a window sticker to have the information printed on it.

I am needing an original to see what all information was on it.

Thanks!
Big John

I would think unless someone took one off and stuck it in a file, that an original would be hard to come by.  Maybe someone has a pic of a original in there picture files.

That is what I need, a copy/photo of an original 78' C10 window sticker. (Perfer a Silverado)

Hello,

I'm still trying to get a copy or photo of an original 78' C-10 (Silverado) window sticker.

Anyone know where to check for something like that?

Thanks!

You need to pm captkoas, he is the site owner, if anyone knows he will.  You got to remember that he is busy and can not look at every post, send him a pm, he is very helpful and will point you in the right direction.

This (http://www.gmmediaarchive.com/) will get you close.

Here's (http://www.ebay.com/itm/1978-1979-CHEVROLET-CORVETTE-CAMARO-ALL-WINDOW-STICKER-/200452478599#vi-content) a blank one.

This (http://www.window-sticker.com/faqs/) place reproduces them from your invoice. They don't list trucks, but probably could do it if you asked

1. This (http://www.gmmediaarchive.com/) will get you close.

2. Here's (http://www.ebay.com/itm/1978-1979-CHEVROLET-CORVETTE-CAMARO-ALL-WINDOW-STICKER-/200452478599#vi-content) a blank one.

1. Have already got a invoice from GM Heritage.

2. Already bought a blank copy.

3. Have already contacted them. They don't have any info for trucks. (told me to find an original for the info)

Need a copy or photo of an original so they can see what/how the information goes on the new form.

I'm really surprised this is as hard to find as it is. Seems like at least some window stickers would have survived, and you're surely not the only one who wants one for a truck.

Most of these were glued to the window...
