I recently got this '86 C/20 Scottsdale in a trade. The guy gave me cash & the truck for my old '52 Chevy Rat Rod. ..We ar both very happy! (and so is my wife!)

Thank, You! I love these trucks(73-87) I had a 79 c/10 beater back in the early 90's. We hauled Band & DJ equipment & dead leaves around. It was two toned, Primer & Rust! The owner of the local car wash kicked us out because our truck was too dirty!
I get excited about these trucks the same way I got excited about '55-' 57 Chevy's, back in high school (mid 60's) until the 90's when they became too expensive!
No state inspection in NJ for 25 year old or older vehicles if you buy the QQ, Historic tags. You pay 44.00 one time, that's it! Imagine what I can do with my '86 Scottsdale C/20? I just put liability insurance on it & I can drive all the miles I want! .. I've always get somebody telling me that I can only drive "SO MANY A YEAR" miles with antique tags! I tell them that every January the 1st, I wait around all day for the NJ State Troopers to come to my house to write down my mileage, so I don't drive too many miles! ...I ask them where to find this law? ..They heard it from their cousins, neighbor's brother in law!
