Title: left side p/w wiring-
Post by: mdethlefs on December 05, 2011, 10:59:22 am
Is there a replacement pigtail to repair/replace damaged wiring/plug at the left side window switch?

Not many sources for that connector.  My R10 uses GM pigtail 12101914 (Delco PT-186) for both window motors, GM 12101916 (Delco PT-188) for the left door master window switch, and GM 12101915 (Delco PT-187) for the right door window switch.  You may be able to substitute Delco PT-546 for the left side and PT-254 for the right side.  Try this resource to match the Delco part number to images of the connectors  http://www.acdelcotechconnect.com/pi/wiring-connectors/gm/pigtails/ (http://www.acdelcotechconnect.com/pi/wiring-connectors/gm/pigtails/)  Search female 5-cavity and 6-cavity connectors.  If the connector housing is reusable, Pico Wiring makes service pin terminals P/N-5846C for lower cost.

I'll try that. This cab came with all the P/W stuff except behind the door panel on the left. There I found the wires cut and the socket and about eight inches of wire cut. I guess some else needed a socket too. I may just go to pic n pull to find another. Thanks

I did find the replacement socket w/ pigtail at the above source.... reasonable cost too.
