HEY HOW MANY LEAFS ARE IN A 77 HEAVY HALF 2WD?WHERE CAN I BUY A QUALITY SET?ARE THE ONES IN JCWHITNEY ANY GOOD?

I could be wrong, but I believe there were 9 springs in the back of the Heavy Half.

Yeah 9 sounds right i knew it was either 8 or 9.I wanted to order new ones but my truck is a long ways away.They want about 90 dollars to ship those darn things!Maybe i will wait till i come home and order some from my parts supplier ,but imagine they will jack the price up 190 dollars!
     I imagine it wouldnt matter if it was 8 or 9 it would still bolt up just the same.

I would order any replacement springs from Eaton Detroit Spring.  They make springs for anything and have the original Detroit manufacturing specs on file.
