Title: Relocating CD Player

Was watching this video and liked the cd player location. Anyone on here done it?

Yes but mine looked good and was straight.  You have to cut a little on the metal dash and pad but if you are careful a nice job can be done.  I will post a picture of the one I did on my non-AC truck.

Thanks, that truck is long gone but not forgotten by a long shot.  It was a $482 eBay purchase and my eldest son's first vehicle.  He still misses it.  Everything was trashed on the inside, the drivers side floor board was almost gone but it ran well.  At the time I had just purchased a 1986 Suburban Silverado and everything went in it interior wise, made it look real nice, even the carpet and floor mats were in great shape.  The radio opening on the dash was so chewed up I got the idea to put it in the dash.  I guess I was not the first but my attempt looked good I thought.  I am going to repeat that in my 86C10 when I get to that point and keep the radio delete plate on the dash bezel.
