I know none of you know her, but I wanted you all to see this article about my friend. She is an amazing young woman that has battled breast cancer for the past several years. She first went to her doctor, and a second doctor with concerns at age 25. They blew her off saying she was way to young, and with no family history she had nothing to worry about. They were wrong! At almost 28 years old she was diagnosed. She is 30 now, and has a clean bill of health.

Thanks for sharing. To have the privilege to know such strong willed people in our lives is a blessing. Tomorrow is my 2 year anniversary to my second wife, she comes from a family of "healers" as I call them (parents and 7 of 8 children are in some sort of medical profession), I have learned more in 2 years about how to take care of yourself then I have in the rest of my life.
I wish your friend the best blazing, and make sure you tell her to keep fighting.

My older sister is in her 5th year of survivorship from breast cancer. Once it, or any life threatening illness touches your life, or the lives of people you know it changes you forever. I have only known Bri for about a year now. I got to know her because her husband brings his RAM pickup to us for repairs.

One of my sister's childhood friends lost her battle with breast cancer about a year ago.
She was 38.

I am sorry to hear that. Nothing good comes from a life cut short.
