Title: 16" wheels on a 75' C20
Post by: ctl_dog on December 27, 2011, 12:48:44 pm
this may be on here some place, but I went back about a year in this category and didn't find an answer, so here we go:
My truck currently has some old 16.5 tires and wheels, the wheels are a little rusty and there are not many choices in the 16.5 tires. Will the 16" wheels fit over the 75's brakes? tire and wheel choice is much better for the 16's.

If your truck is a C20, you should have the 8 bolt rims, right?

If so, then yes, an 8 bolt 16" rim will fit over your stock brakes.

I'm running into the same problem now. Very limited selection of tires for 16.5 rims.

They will work, my 78 c20 came stock with 16's on it.
