Title: My Rigs
Post by: discot315 on January 06, 2012, 10:08:13 am
I wanted to make a build thread of what I have done and am doing to my trucks  :)  I have taken alot of pictures along the way

It started with my 1980 Chevy K10. Tired 350 with a 4 speed and 205tc. long box and it's painted flat black, (very easy color to take care of and touch up)  8)

Pics are a few weeks after I got it,  33" Swampers, hedders, glass packs, then a little while later stereo in the dash with speakers, CB and dual antenas, couple decals on the back window and then it was mudding fridays after work lol

As you can imagine it didn't take long til I had to pull the motor lol  ;D

First pic is in the process of pulling the old
Second is while the motor was out I stuck in a 3" body lift to help with clearance (had to trim the front fenders to fit the tires)
Third is what I broke in the motor, main bearings. Top ones are how there supposed to look for comparison
Fourth is when I was done the new motor

Any comments or questions are appreciated!
