Hey guys,
Ive got a 78 c10 stepside over here in Australia, to comply with our on road standards the inspector has asked for a part number or even a brand of the wheels that are on the truck,, heres a photo if it works, cant see a number or find on the net what they are, would you guys be familiar with the brand or a part number for these wheels ??? also anyone have a clue what the axle loading or rating is, he has also asked me for this info, thanks in advance...

the load rating on the tires is written in the small writing around the rim. as far as the axles go i think that info should be on the door GVWR is what your looking for. its not just what type of axle your truck has but also what springs. GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating) will tell you whats the limit of the truck as a whole not just the axles

Thanks Irish_Alley, i'll check the GVWR, this might be what he's talking about, i think his concern also is the strength or standard of the wheel, i think ive seen this wheel around before---dragway, centreline one of those brands...another question if anyone could help is the frontend/headlights, as to what year they are, looking on the net im pretty sure its not a standard 78 front/headlights ect...heres a pic, as the headlights need replacing for the euro type...cheers

Welcome to the site from California. As far as your axles go, a c-10 should either have 3300 or 3500 lb axles (for 78), depending on which axle you have.
