well 6 lugs where only on 1/2 4x4 till i think 99 then gm made all 1/2tons 6 lugs. dont think there’s a kit for it so if you want 6 lugs you can either get a 4x4 or get a 99+. BUT might be cheaper just to get new rims  ;)

Wow, a little over 15 years ago it seemed like the big rage was to convert the 6-lug Chevrolet trucks to 5-lug... What's next people wanting 16" tires?  :P

For the rear, you should be able to swap in the 4x4 6-lug axle shafts and the 4x4 brake drums of correct diameter for the 5-lug shafts and drums.

On the front, there might be an aftermarket dealer for 6-lug hubs to fit the '73 - '87 1/2 ton pickups... I haven't seen anything like that yet.

Many of the '67 - '72 1/2 ton 4x2 Chevy/GMC trucks had stock 6-lug wheels.  It's possible to go that route but you will be doing a lot of parts scrounging and it probably isn't worth it.  You would have to find one w/ front disc brakes and associated parts.  IDK if you could just swap rear axle shafts or whether you would need the whole rear axle ass'y.  However, keep in mind '67 - '72 4x2 trucks had coil springs in the rear which means more modding, etc.

My $0.02
