Title: Lowered control arms????
Post by: silverflames on February 14, 2003, 10:06:00 pm
I have an 81 Shortbox 1/2 ton that i lowered with 3" drop spindles and 1 1/2" coils.  the problem I am having is with ground clearance.  The lower control arms scrape all the time, sometimes its pretty sweet at night when they throw sparks, but the rest of the time it sucks.  I was wondering if I would be able to replace the spindles with stock and get new control arms to get the stance i want.  or does anyone make 2" drop spindles for these trucks??? Thanks to anyone who can help

i have the same Prob..........plus i have a bigblock in front. Belltech makes 2" spindles i believe. i have learned to watch the road and navigate better. I think if i put the poly pump stops on it will keep it from hammering the ground.
