are your springs going in in the correct direction.  The front spring hanger bolt is bigger than the rear, sometimes.  Which metal sleeves are you refering too.  Pics would help.

The sleeves that go in the bushing itself I know there the front they come off a 86 suburban the very front is bigger like  a 9/16 bolt while the ones on the springs are like a half inch is there a special shoulder bolt?

Sounds like the holes on the hangers might be worn.

Because it is a superlift spring the tech line should be able to tell you what size hardware is required. They've always been real helpful everytime I've had a question. Are the springs off of a 1/2 ton and going on a 3/4 ton or vice versa?
