Title: Dash pad cover on a 83 GMC C10

I have been working on refinishing my dash pad.  I used a grinder and carved out the cracks in the pad.  I then used a seam sealer to fill them back in.  My plan was to finish off the dash with a bed coating of some sort, but I haven't been able to get the dash as smooth as I want to with the seam sealer and I am not sure how to make new speaker grills.  As most of you know the speaker areas are the first to fall apart and crack.  I will add some pics of the dash as it is now.  It is not installed in the pickup.  I will also take some pics of the dash cover I purchased and what my results are after I am finished.  I am buying a house right now, so I will try to keep up and not make this drag on.

      Looking forward to the progress report.  Have you looked on the internet, I have seen some great dash restores on u-tube.
